Products

Products are goods or services sold through the checkout page. The customer must select a product on your end and click on the checkout link of this product. This allows the customer to add the product to the shopping cart on the checkout page and begin the purchase process. Any product must have its properties required for making a purchase preconfigured, so it becomes possible to add this product to the checkout page.

You can:

• Keep your product catalog on our end.
• Keep your product catalog on your end.

If you keep your product catalog on our end:

• All the product properties and the product prices used in the purchase process must be preconfigured on our end.
• Therefore, you create products using the Merchant Portal or through the Products API.
• After that, you get permanent checkout links allowing your end customers to purchase your products. You publish these links on your end.

• When following the checkout links, customers can place orders for your products and pay for them.

If you keep your product catalog on your end:

• Only some of the product properties are configured on our end (default values).
• Your product catalog, product properties, and prices - all of this is stored on your end.
• You create one or more original products on our end to set up default product properties.
• After that, every time your customer needs to add a product from your catalog to the checkout page, you make a request to the Dynamic Product Checkout API and transfer the basic properties of the desired product (name, price, etc.). In response, you receive a one-time checkout link. The link allows the customer to purchase the product. Only one order can be placed using this link.
