Overview
A renewal offer email is a message sent to a customer with a link to purchase a renewal for a previously bought product with a limited validity period.
The validity period is the time during which the customer can use the purchased product — for example, 30 days, 3 months, or 1 year.
When using renewal offer emails:

The customer receives an email containing a link to purchase the renewal.

The customer must manually create and pay for the renewal order.
How It Works

The customer manually purchases a product that includes a renewal option.
This looks like a regular one-time purchase — the customer is not asked to agree to a subscription. -
Once the order is paid, the renewal offer email feature is enabled.
Technically, this is not the same as an AR or PMR subscription. -
When the product’s validity period ends, a renewal offer email is sent.

To extend access to the product, the customer needs to follow the link in the email and manually complete and pay for a renewal order.

Once the renewal is paid, the product’s validity period is extended.

Email settings
The email can be configured based on the payment method used for the order (online/offline).
You can configure the following:

The number of days before the product’s validity expires when the email should be sent.

The email template.
Default values:

3 days before the end of the validity period. |

For products paid with offline methods |
10 days before the end of the validity period. |
