Reduce the number of licenses in a Google Workspace subscription

Monthly billing plan (Flexible plan)

If you are using a monthly billing plan (Flexible plan), you can reduce the amount of resources in the subscription.

To reduce the amount of recourses:

• Configure your subscription in the Google Admin console first:

  • Go to Google Admin console (https://admin.google.com) and sign in.

  • Delete the users who no longer need a license, see the guide on the Google website.

• Configure your subscription in the Client Control Panel. You can change the amount of recourses both in the current and in the future period:

Annual billing plan

If you are using an annual billing plan, you can reduce the amount of recourses when it’s time to renew your annual contract while creating a renewal order.

To reduce the amount of recourses:

• Configure your subscription in the Google Admin console:

  • Go to Google Admin console (https://admin.google.com) and sign in.

  • Delete the users who no longer need a license, see the guide on the Google website.

• Configure your subscription in the Client Control Panel. During the term of the annual contract, you cannot reduce the number of licenses in the subscription or cancel your subscription:
